The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) of St Kitts & Nevis has been running a limited time offer on the Sustainable Growth Fund Option which will expire on the 31st December 2021. By means of this limited time offer, a family of four persons could apply under one application at a cost of $150,000 instead of the standard $195,000. This means that until the end of 2021, the cost of applying for citizenship is effectively reduced by USD $45,000. This initiative resulted in an increase of applications given that the Saint Kitts & Nevis citizenship by investment programme is of a platinum standard as is one of the most trusted investment programmes worldwide, having been established since 1984. Moreover by obtaining citizenship in St Kitts one gets the right to enjoy visa-free travel to over 156 countries including the EU, UK and Russia. Aside from obtaining a second citizenship, the programme also offers the invaluable option of passing down citizenship for future generations.

Expiration of the Limited Time Offer

The CEO of the St Kitts Citizenship Unit, Mr Les Khan has confirmed that the Sustainable Growth Fund Limited Time Offer on the Citizenship by Investment Programme will not be extended further. Thus, prospective investors have only until December 31st 2021 to apply in order to qualify for the offer. The Limited Time Offer was introduced in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic in order to attract more investors to apply for citizenship, at a time when investment from tourism was at an all time low. During the time, investors were also understanding the importance of having a second passport and better access to travel to more countries.

In a press release, the CEO Mr Les Khan has confirmed that the donation amount for family of four will return to its original USD $195,000 from 2022.
